If you experience problems with sending emails from your phone or tablet (iOS) you must check the SMTP-server settings. Follow the steps below.
Notice that the steps below can differ from your deivce, depending on model and OS-version.
- Open the settings and select "Mail, Contacts, Calendars"
- Select Mail and under Accounts select the specific email account you want to check / edit
- Tap the email address under IMAP
- Scroll down to ""Outgoing Mail Servers" and tap "SMTP"
- Tap the primary server
- Now you check if all settings are correct, also retype the password
After this you can test to send a new email and it should workd. It is recommended to restart the device.
Server ports with SSL selected:
IMAP: 993
POP: 995
SMTP: 465
Server ports without SSL selected:
IMAP: 143
POP: 110
SMTP: 2500
